Notes
'Goldquelle' cutleaf coneflower (Rudbeckia laciniata 'Goldquelle') is a perennial for the back of the border in the summer garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade. Round golden yellow pompoms about three inches wide sit on stems that reach six to ten feet tall. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It blooms over a long season from early summer into autumn, so give it room at the back of the bed.
Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Sensitive fern, and Hummingbird sweet pepperbush.
