Notes

'Hortensia' cutleaf coneflower (Rudbeckia laciniata 'Hortensia') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, meadows, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows as a rapid clumping plant with yellow blooms from early to late summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Smooth aster, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
