Notes

'Gran Paradiso' lily (Lilium 'Gran Paradiso') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Tall stems carry large, fragrant red flowers in early to late summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to pass it by. Keep it away from cats, since it is toxic to them.

Pairs well with Red Charm peony, Sum and Substance hosta, and Big bluestem.
