Notes
'Green' coneflower (Echinacea 'Green') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms from early to late summer, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the fragrant flowers. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The plant is also drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Nodding onion, Sedge, and Black Beauty peony.
