Notes

'Green Envy' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Green Envy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The light green and pink blooms open in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Butterfly milkweed, and Prairie dropseed.
