Notes

Guernsey lily (Nerine bowdenii) is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Spidery pink flowers rise from strap-like foliage in autumn. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. In cold winters, you can grow it in a pot and protect it.

Pairs well with Society garlic, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Silver sage.
