Notes

Guernsey lily (Nerine sarniensis) is a bulb for borders and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It bears fragrant red flowers that open in early to late autumn. It is also drought tolerant and needs little care. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Agapanthus, Stonecrop, and Silver feather grass.
