Notes
'Guinea Gold' turkscap lily (Lilium martagon 'Guinea Gold') is a bulb. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun. Its nodding yellow flowers have recurved petals flushed with orange and speckled in deep red. It rises above hostas and brunneras in the woodland garden. Martagon lilies may take a year off after planting, so dig down carefully before you worry.
Pairs well with Paradigm hosta, Fanal astilbe, and Autumn crocus.
