Notes

Hardy calanthe orchid (Calanthe puberula) is a perennial for borders and containers, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. The evergreen leaves stay on the plant through the year.

Pairs well with Hicksii yew, Blue mistflower, and Snake's head.
