Notes
'Hello Yellow' butterfly milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa 'Hello Yellow') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, rock gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Fragrant yellow flowers feed monarchs and other butterflies all summer, and deadheading brings more blooms.
Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Nodding onion, and Sedge.
