Notes
'HGC Pink Frost' Lenten rose (Helleborus ballardiae 'HGC Pink Frost') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. The darkest pink tones develop in colder temperatures. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. In zone 4, cover it with mulch or snow for winter protection.
Pairs well with Common snowdrop, Caramel coral bells, Thalia daffodil, and Siberian bugloss.
