Notes

'Radiant Rose' hollyhock (Alcea rosea 'Radiant Rose') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. It grows 59 to 71 inches tall and blooms from early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Laura garden phlox, Starlight tickseed, and Blue Glitter eryngium.
