Notes

'Home Fires' daffodil (Narcissus 'Home Fires') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The yellow flowers have a ribbed orange cup and a sweet scent, and bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. G.L. Wilson bred it.

Pairs well with Red Charm peony, Prairie dropseed, and Niobe clematis.
