Notes

'Hong Kong' daffodil (Narcissus 'Hong Kong') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The fragrant flowers have lemon yellow petals around a bright reddish orange cup with a slightly frilled edge. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and J.L. Richardson bred it.

Pairs well with Star magnolia, Little Lime panicle hydrangea, and Cora Louise peony.
