Notes

'Cora Louise' peony (Paeonia 'Cora Louise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The fragrant white blooms have magenta-purple centers and attract butterflies and bees. Roger F. Anderson bred it in 1986.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Blue fescue, and Niobe clematis.
