Notes

'Hope' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Hope') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Pink blooms open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Prairie dropseed, Nodding onion, and Indian Summer rudbeckia.
