Notes

'Hot Shot' rose (Rosa 'Hot Shot') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright plant has medium green leaves and fragrant orange-red blooms. Bees visit the flowers from late spring to early autumn. Tiny Petals Nursery introduced it in 1982.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Blue grama, and Pink Hawaiian Coral peony.
