Notes
'Hyperion' tulip (Tulipa 'Hyperion') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms in early to late spring with fuchsine red flowers. Plant the bulbs in groups so the color makes a bold show in the bed. Zocher & Co bred it in 1923.
Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Angel Cheeks peony, and Little bluestem.
