Notes

'Imperial Potentate' rose (Rosa 'Imperial Potentate') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright, well-branched stems carry few or no prickles. Fragrant medium pink blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn, and bees visit them. Clarke Bros bred it in 1921.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Ornamental onion, and Japanese forest grass.
