Notes
'Irresistible' coneflower (Echinacea 'Irresistible') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Yellow blooms with copper cones age to coral-pink and then pale salmon from early to late summer. The fragrant flowers draw butterflies, bees, and birds.
Pairs well with Nodding onion, Sedge, and Pyrethrum.
