Notes

'Islander' dahlia (Dahlia 'Islander') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The dinner plate blooms reach 8 to 10 inches across. Dark pink petals fade to softer pink at the edges. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Anemone, Praying Hands hosta, and Sweet William.
