Notes

'Jackie' giant silver mullein (Verbascum 'Jackie') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Pale peach-pink to yellowish flowers open in late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Silver sage, Blue fescue, and Casa Blanca lily.
