Notes

'James Marsh' daylily (Hemerocallis 'James Marsh') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. The red flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Nodding onion, Sedge, and Spotted dead nettle.
