Notes
'JD818' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia 'JD818') is a shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 60 to 96 inches tall and 36 to 48 inches wide, so it makes a good screen. Soft lavender flowers open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. The leaves turn color in fall, and the plant is drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Boxwood, Fountain grass, and Euonymus.
