'Jedi Free Spirit' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Jedi Free Spirit') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It blooms in early to late summer and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. Once settled, it tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Fragrant Angel coneflower, Lady's mantle, and Elijah Blue blue fescue.
