Notes

'Jim Dandy' rose (Rosa 'Jim Dandy') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright plant stays compact and bears fragrant red blend blooms from late spring into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Frank A. Benardella bred it in 1989.

Pairs well with Foxglove, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Delphinium.
