'Joel's Favourite' dahlia (Dahlia 'Joel's Favourite') is a bulb for cut flowers, borders, and butterfly gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. The waterlily-shaped blooms are pastel peach with light pink centers. They sit atop sturdy stems that work well in bouquets. Winter wet can harm it, so grow it where soil stays dry in winter or lift and store the tubers indoors.
Pairs well with Becky Shasta daisy, Shenandoah switchgrass, and Globemaster allium.
