Notes

'José Carreras' rose (Rosa 'José Carreras') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. White flowers are fragrant and open from early to late summer, and bees visit them. The bushy plant stays about 30 inches tall and wide and has glossy, medium green leaves. L. Pernille Olesen bred it in 1998.

Pairs well with Foxglove, Delphinium, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Johnny jump up.
