Notes
'Jura' dahlia (Dahlia 'Jura') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the blooms, which open in summer and again in autumn. C. Geerlings bred it, and F.J. Steggall introduced it in 1988.
Pairs well with Montbretia, Black-eyed Susan, and Sneezeweed.
