Notes

'Kaboom' Siberian iris (Iris sibirica 'Kaboom') is a perennial for garden beds and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Its double blooms are violet-blue with creamy centers and purple veining, and they open in spring and summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The strap-like green leaves look good all season, and hummingbirds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Tiger lily, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
