Notes

'Kamarachiba' hinoki cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Kamarachiba') is an evergreen shrub for rock gardens, containers, borders, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It stays small, reaching 12 to 24 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. The broad form grows at a moderate pace and adds green color to the garden in winter.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Sedge, and Winterberry.
