'Kasasagi' dahlia (Dahlia 'Kasasagi') is a bulb. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Its pompon blooms have golden-yellow petals edged in burnt-red and appear from summer into fall. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Protect it from winter wet, or lift and store it in a cool, dry, frost free spot.
