Notes
'Katz White' stock (Matthiola incana 'Katz White') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. White fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Cornflower, Johnny jump up, Eden rose, and Japanese forest grass.
