Notes
'King Pete' lily (Lilium 'King Pete') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late summer and has a fragrant scent. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. H. Peters bred it, and J. Wadekamper introduced it in 1977.
Pairs well with Black Adder Bill Williams Mountain giant hyssop, Coronation Gold yarrow, and Lucifer montbretia.
