Notes
Korean maple (Acer pseudosieboldianum) is a tree for specimen planting and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The green leaves open on coral pink stems in early spring. They turn yellow, orange, and red in fall and hold on a few weeks longer than Japanese maples.
Pairs well with Liberty hosta, Cinnamon fern, and Little Lime panicle hydrangea.
