Notes

'Lady Mary Ward' rose (Rosa 'Lady Mary Ward') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its upright stems carry fragrant orange blooms from early to late summer, and bees visit them. Samuel McGredy II bred it, and H. Kemp introduced it in 1913.

Pairs well with Butterfly bush, Amsonia, and Casa Blanca lily.
