Notes
'Lamplighter' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Lamplighter') is an evergreen perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Burgundy blooms with yellow to green throats open in mid to late summer. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. The clump grows 24 to 30 inches tall and wide, so give it room to spread.
Pairs well with Sedge, Alexander Fleming peony, and Dalmatian bellflower.
