Notes

'Lavender Lady' tree mallow (Malva olbia 'Lavender Lady') is a perennial for borders, containers, and hot, dry sunny areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. Small pale-violet flowers with darker veining bloom over a long season, and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The look is softer than larger, pink-flowered kinds.

Pairs well with Heavy Metal switchgrass, Becky Shasta daisy, and Miss Molly orange ball tree.
