Notes

Musk mallow (Malva moschata) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Rose pink flowers are fragrant and open from early to late summer, then again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. The dense green plant grows 24 to 36 inches tall.

Pairs well with Bloody geranium, Bellflower, Sedge, and Indian grass.
