Notes

'Lavender' spotted beebalm (Monarda didyma 'Lavender') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Purple flowers open from early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. The foliage is fragrant, so plant it near a path where you can brush past it.

Pairs well with Cat mint, Bowl of Cream peony, and Buffalo grass.
