Notes

'Leccino' olive (Olea europaea 'Leccino') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun. Leccino has a sweet flavor and is one of the best olives for cold growing conditions. It needs a different olive nearby as a pollinator, and Frantoio and Arbequina are good choices. Bees visit the white to cream flowers.

Pairs well with Italian cypress, White sage, Sea holly, and Artichoke.
