Notes
'Lemon Gems' rose (Rosa 'Lemon Gems') is a shrub for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 18 to 24 inches tall. The fragrant, medium yellow flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn, and bees visit them.
Pairs well with Amsonia, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Gladiolus.
