Notes

'Leonard Barron' rose (Rosa 'Leonard Barron') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant has leathery leaves and fragrant orange-pink blooms that attract bees. Flowers open in late spring, again from early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Jean Henri bred it in 1931.

Pairs well with Amsonia, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Gladiolus.
