Notes

'Leprechaun' crabapple (Malus 'Leprechaun') is a tree for pollinator gardens and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant pink buds open in early to late spring and fade to white. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and it tolerates drought once settled.

Pairs well with White trillium, Gladiator ornamental onion, Royal fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
