Notes

Lesser knotweed (Koenigia campanulata) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, so give it room. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It adapts to acid, alkaline, or neutral soil.

Pairs well with Fireglow spurge, Lucifer montbretia, and Loosestrife.
