Notes

'Lichtblick' rose (Rosa 'Lichtblick') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright shrub reaches about 28 to 59 inches tall and bears fragrant orange-pink blooms. Bees visit the flowers from late spring into early autumn. Dr. Eckart Haenchen bred it in 1972.

Pairs well with Lilac, Culver’s root, and Japanese forest grass.
