Notes

'Lilliput' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Lilliput') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Rose pink petals surround an orange-brown center cone from early to late summer, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It stays 12 to 18 inches tall.

Pairs well with Indian grass, Nodding onion, and Indian Summer rudbeckia.
