Notes
'Regale' lily (Lilium regale 'Regale') is a bulb for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant white flowers are pinkish purple outside and bloom from early to late summer. Each stem can carry up to 25 flowers, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Red Charm peony, Blue fescue, Niobe clematis, and Rainforest Sunrise hosta.
