Notes
'Album' lily (Lilium regale 'Album') is a bulb for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The pure white trumpets have a yellow glow in the throat and a sweet fragrance. They open in mid to late July and add dramatic height. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Black Beauty peony, Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, and Western sword fern.
