Notes

'Little Flame' rose (Rosa 'Little Flame') is a compact shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows 16 to 24 inches tall and bears orange blooms in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. John K. Walden bred it in 1998.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Indian grass, Ornamental onion, and Cornflower.
